LOCATION:
The
Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch in the London Borough of Havering and
is accessible by train, bus, coach and car. The theatre is a five-minute
walk from the town centre.
PARKING:

There is a free car park adjacent to the Theatre.
- There are three allocated parking spaces for blue badge holders at the
front of the building.
- There is lowered kerb to allow wheelchair access from the road to the
pavement.
MAIN
ENTRANCE:
-
There is a slope as well as steps to the main entrance of the building
which is illuminated at all times.
- There are two sets of doors to the main entrance that are operated manually.
- There are two sets of mats between entrance doors.
FOYER:
-
The Box Office is located in the foyer. The counter stands 4’ (1.2
metres) high.
- There is an Induction Loop fitted at the Box Office. Please set your
hearing aid to the T position to use this facility.

There is a wheelchair accessible toilet in the South Foyer. Radar keys
are held at the Box Office, Kiosk, Bar & Café Area, Stage Door,
and the South Foyer Lobby, and are available from Front of House staff.
The wheelchair accessible toilet is to be upgraded with a new sink, new
door handle and fire alarm activated lights
BAR
& CAFÉ:

There are stairs and a lift going down to the Bar and Café area.
Here there are toilet facilities for men and women as well as baby changing
facilities. - There is a wheelchair accessible toilet which is to be upgraded.
AUDITORIUM:

The entrance to the Auditorium is on a level with the Foyer. There are
shallow steps with a handrail to all rows in the auditorium except row
E, that maintains the same level of access. There are spaces for 4 wheel
chairs in row E.
