Separate Tables programme cover18 February – 2 March
Separate Tables
by Terence Rattigan

This play, or rather two plays, is Terence Rattigan’s second attempt at a double bill and is an even greater success than the first (The Browning Version and Harlequinade). Separate Tables is different from all previous double bills, for both plays (Table by the Window and Table Number Seven) take place in the same hotel and have largely the same characters.

Terence Rattigan’s sense of Theatre is profound, his great gift of dialogue, his ability to give the right words to his characters show his observations and understanding of humanity have never been more keen.
