Sweeney Todd show image

6 – 28 March
Sweeney Todd
The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

by Chris Bond

A tale of love, murder and meat pies

Sweeney Todd will never forgive the man who destroyed his beloved wife and daughter. After years of wrongful imprisonment, he returns to seek revenge.

Upstairs in his barbershop, high above the dark streets of Victorian London, Todd executes his plot. With a flick of a razor he bumps off his customers one by one.

Downstairs in Mrs Lovett’s Pie Shop his partner in crime puts their victims to use, lovingly baking some very unsavoury pies.

From the author of our Lionel Bart musical It’s a Fine Life!. You’ll love this gripping play, which was the inspiration for the award-winning musical and Johnny Depp’s Hollywood blockbuster.
