Tracey graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester with a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts. During her studies she spent time as an intern at the Ensemble Theatre Community School in Pennsylvania and worked at the Alliance Children’s Theatre and Theatre Gael in Atlanta. She has completed her Post Graduate Diploma in BSL/English Interpreting from the University of Central Lancashire and is registered as a Member of the Register of BSL/English Interpreters (MRSLI) and a Licensed Member of the Association of Sign Language Interpreters (LASLI). She has also completed specialised interpreter training with Museums and Galleries in the Capital (MAGIC) and Theaterps. She currently works as a freelance interpreter across London and the South East. Other theatre interpreting assignments have included: Outlying Islands, Playing the Victim, The Honeymoon Suite and Shining City at the Royal Court Theatre, London; Jack & The Beanstalk, Blues for Mr Charlie, Johnny Thunder and the Trousers of Destiny (Children’s Show), Company, Babes in the Wood and Day of the Triffids at the New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich; Blues for Mr Charlie at the Tricycle Theatre, London; The Owl Service at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth; Comedy of Errors and Stepping Out at the Cambridge Arts Theatre; Move over Mrs Markham and Gut Girls at the Newhampton Arts Centre, Wolverhampton; Dick Whittington at the Central Theatre, Chatham; Candida for the Oxford Stage Company; Hot Mikado at Upstairs at the Gatehouse, London and Soapsud Island at Brightlingsea Community Hall. She has also been involved in an inclusive interpreted production, Still Life, written by Steve Hennessy. This was a joint collaboration with Big House Theatre Company, Manchester and Partisan Theatre, Bristol.
