The
Queen’s Theatre offers work experience placements for students
in year 10 and above and specialist work placements for university
and college students.
A work
experience placement at the Queen’s involves working
with all the departments in the theatre. If you are interested in
performing you may be disappointed, as a placement here will not
involve the opportunity to do this. You should be prepared to do
a very wide variety of work, both office-based and practical.

A specialist
work placement at the Queen’s involves working in
one or two departments in the theatre. If you are studying a particular
theatrical discipline at college or university or you’re interested
in getting more experience in a particular field such as Stage Management,
Scenic Art or Wardrobe then this may be for you.
Once again if
you’re interested in performing you may be disappointed, as
a placement here will not involve the opportunity to do this. You
should also be prepared to do some work in other departments from
time to time.
