FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF
£6.81 per hour

Front of House staff are required to join the team’s hospitality in its refurbished premises. Responsibilities include ushering and bar & café work for the greatest enjoyment of our theatregoers. Experience would be desirable and training will be provided. The hours will be primarily weekdays with some evening and weekend work.

CHAPERONE
6.81 per hour (after 13 week probationary period)

The Queen’s Theatre is looking for a fully licensed Chaperone to be a key member of the Young Company team, consisting of Young Company members – Co-ordinators, Stage Management Department, Theatre Administration and Chaperones. The candidate must have experience of working with young people and be able to work days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. The minimum age for this post is 18. Successful candidates should be prepared to be CRB checked.

CASUAL TECHNICIANS / BACKSTAGE STAFF
Salary: Dependent on type of role required and will be discussed at interview

The Queen’s Theatre require a pool of casual backstage staff. You will be required for overnight strikes, show followspot operation and backstage work as required. Experience of lighting, sound and rigging/staging is desirable but not essential.

Hours can be unsociable including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.

TUTOR
fixed term, 10 weeks: 22 Sept – 01 Dec 10
contract may be extended

The Queen’s Theatre Education Department produces a range of Theatre groups and seeks tutors to lead the Q Senior Group (ages 14-19). Responsibilities include planning and delivering drama workshops and public performances. A minimum of 1 years’ experience leading drama workshops is desirable.
