What happens after I apply? MORE LESS

When we have received your application and any supporting materials we have asked for, we will review your relevant experience and skills and invite shortlisted candidates to attend an interview.

This will usually be with a panel of three staff and/or freelancers or ‎volunteers involved in Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch. The interview panel will want to hear all about your relevant experience and where you have made a difference in your current or previous roles. The interview panel are looking for you to talk about your work, how you do it, and the results you have achieved. The interview panel will be assessing your relevant skills as well as how you can contribute to the future of Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch.

You may be set a challenge relevant to the role you are applying for. The email invitation we send you for an interview will include all the information you need.

Please note for interviews we will reimburse travel expenses, provide BSL interpreters and language interpreters. If you would like an interpreter present for your interview, please email recruitment@queens-theatre.co.uk

Technical Crew – Cinderella

To support our core team we are looking for additional technical crew to support either Lighting or Sound
operation or to act as a technical swing on this year’s pantomime Cinderella. We would be interested in candidates who could support the whole run, or who could offer good availability to share the support with another crew member.

Dates: ASAP –Tue 7 Jan 2025
Fee: £568.62 per week (based on 39 hours) with double time for Sundays and Bank holidays and paid
overtime for hours above 39.
Application closing date: Sat 23 Nov

Working full days ASAP - 23 Nov for preparation and technical rehearsals, then show call from 26 Nov – 4 Jan 2025 (2 shows day/6 day weeks, combination of morning afternoon and evening shows, with Monday being the usual day off).
