Critics are loving Abi!

The Queen’s Theatre is delighted to see its co-production of Atiha Sen Gupta’s fresh and vibrant one-woman play Abi premiere this week to rave reviews, co-produced with Derby Theatre. The Guardian applauded Safiyya Ingar’s ‘captivating’ performance and ‘magnetic energy’ and described the production as being ‘full of zest and humour’.  Aleks Sierz thoroughly enjoyed it and ‘highly recommended’ this ‘little gem… superbly written’ by Atiha Sen Gupta. He was also impressed by Safiyya Ingar’s performance, which he claimed had ‘attractive energy’.
