Community Hire
Guest groups and community hires are an important part of our programme, and we are proud to play host to a number of community and guest groups local to the area on an annual basis.
We can accommodate community shows in both the Auditorium and on The Other Stage.
The Auditorium has full basic lighting, sound, and staging equipment; plus our brilliant technical team to support you.
The main stage Auditorium seats up to 507 people and the stage itself can accommodate up to 120 performers for drama, concerts, dance, musical theatre, conferences, and corporate events.
The Other Stage suits smaller events: readings, music, talks, scratch performances, and stand-up. Situated in our foyer, The Other Stage can seat up to 130 people and can be configured in various ways as is needed. As it is in the foyer please note there is no backstage area and technical options are limited.
Please note that the Auditorium is usually booked 8-10 months in advance, and around the dates of our in-house produced activities. This means that we are not able to accommodate hire requests during certain times of the year.

We are currently fully booked up to February 2026 and are not accepting new enquiries at this time. We will send periodical information to prospective community hirers when we open our books again.

Want to bring your touring show to Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch? Please email: programming@queens-theatre.co.uk and provide the following information for consideration:
· Photos, videos and reviews of the work (or your previous work if you’re touring a piece of new work)
· Details of the financial deal you are seeking
· Details of your technical requirements, including a tech rider if you have one
· Let us know your ideal dates
