Dame Molly Coddle’s Design Studio

Join us for Nanny Molly Coddle’s Design Studio and you could see your creation live on stage! Complete your Design a Dame competition entry in an inspiring space and be in with the chance of seeing your design live on stage in the Robin Hood pantomime finale! The winner will be invited along to the theatre for a behind-the-scenes experience – this could include watching the costume being made or attending a fitting, plus they’ll also win 4 tickets to the Opening Night performance and a goody bag filled with treats!

The big finale is the scene at the end of the show when each character takes a bow. This is the biggest, flashiest costume of the show.

We’re looking for designs that:

Go big on imagination, creativity and character – but make sure it could really be made and worn.
Feature amazing colours, patterns, textures or sparkles.
Include finishing touches like accessories.
Don’t forget a wig, hat, or headpiece to complete the look.

Comedy Club 4 Kids

Since 2005, the Comedy Club 4 Kids has been getting the best stand-ups, sketch acts and cabaret stars to do their thing for an audience of children (aged 6+) and their families… but without the rude bits! The show is family-friendly but without any patronising idiocy. In fact, it’s just like a normal comedy club, but it’s on during the day, kids are allowed in, and thus there is a higher-than-usual chance of the entire audience claiming to be called Bob.

Twenty years later, the company has expanded from one London residency to being countrywide, running shows and workshops all over the UK from Peebles to Portsmouth, even producing a book on how to write and perform stand-up, and hosting our own Radio Nonsense podcast to bring the sillies to families all over the world.
