Your Tickets and Conditions of Sale

Once tickets are purchased money cannot be refunded and tickets cannot be exchanged.

For Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch Productions, we may, at our discretion, offer to transfer your tickets to a different performance of the same production if a minimum of 24 hours notice is given. This would incur an exchange fee of £2.50 per ticket.

At our discretion, we may occasionally offer to try and resell tickets if a performance is sold out. Requests must be put in writing by the account holder with a minimum of 24 hours notice. If we are successful in reselling, an admin fee of £2.50 will be charged per ticket and the balance will be applied to the bookers Queen’s Theatre account as a credit voucher which lasts for 12 months. The QNext fee of 70p cannot be refunded. Please note, resale is not guaranteed and we may only be successful in selling some of your tickets.

Tickets must not be re-sold for profit or commercial gain. Failure to comply will make this ticket void. Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch will not be held responsible for any tickets purchased through unauthorised methods.

For concessionary tickets a valid proof of eligibility will be requested when collecting tickets.

Some price types, discounts, offers and group deals are not available to purchase online.

All orders are subject to credit card approval and verification of billing address. Your credit card will not be charged until the end of the transaction.

Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch reserves the right to cancel or alter an advertised programme, start time or casting, rendered necessary by unavoidable causes.

In the event of a show cancellation, Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch are not liable for covering additional costs such as transport, accommodation, or any other related service. We’ll always try to let you know as soon as possible about an event changing or being cancelled to give you the opportunity to cancel your arrangements.

Your Attendance

Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance, so as to minimise disruption to other patrons.

Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch reserves the right to provide alternative seats to those specified on the ticket in exceptional circumstances.

Theatre management reserves the right to refuse admission or to request any ticket holder to leave the premises. You may be required to surrender any tickets you hold, without refund, if you:

  • Refuse to leave a prohibited item with our staff
  • Refuse To be searched
  • In our reasonable opinion, you or your behaviour, or any item you are carrying might pose a health and safety risk, affect the enjoyment of other visitors, affect the running of the event, be in breach of these venue terms and conditions, be illegal, lead to a breach of any licensing conditions applicable a the theatre or be in breach of any rules and regulations exhibited on notices at the venue.

Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch are not responsible for any PCN notices issued to customers whilst at the theatre. We would always recommend carefully checking signage in each location.

Attending with Children

Children under the age of three may sit on a parent’s/guardian’s lap, unless information stated in the shows promotional materials or website page deny entry to children under a specified age or there is a specified ticket price for children under 3 years of age. All other patrons must have a ticket.

Please note that Essential Companion tickets are only available to children aged 14 and over as under 14’s cannot attend the theatre unaccompanied. All children aged under 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+)

Your Comfort and Safety

Strobe lighting, smoke effects, loud bangs, gun shots, loud sound effects and smoking are sometimes used in Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch productions. Details are available at the Box Office from the first preview performance.

Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch adheres to Government guidance on noise levels at music concerts, however, please be aware these events are usually very loud.

Smoking or vaping is forbidden on the premises including the front steps of the theatre. Please use the designated area at pavement level near the main entrance.

Only food, drinks and confectionery purchased at Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch may be consumed on the premises.

Please do not disturb other members of the audience with noisy sweet and food wrappers during a performance.

The use of mobile phones during a performance is prohibited. Please ensure that all mobile phones and watches are silenced before the performance.

The use of audio or visual recording equipment is not permitted during performances.

For your comfort and safety, enhanced security could be in operation and you may be subject to security checks upon your visit to the theatre – we appreciate your patience and understanding whilst these checks are taking place.

We reserve the right to prohibit any items which in our opinion may cause danger or disruption to any event, Including, but not limited to open drinks containers, alcohol, professional cameras, large bags/suitcases, weapons, explosive, horns, whistles, large umbrellas, light up/flashing toys or items which artists performing at an event or their management have asked us to prohibit. Please inquire at the time of booking for further information.

Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch does not have a cloakroom facility and is unable to store large bags and suitcases. Please help us by ensuring that you keep your belongings with you at all times.

 

Post Event Communications

We undertake audience research through email, online, telephone surveys, or sometimes in person. Participation in these is entirely voluntary, so you can choose whether or not to disclose any information requested. We will make it clear whether your response to surveys is anonymous or not and, should you provide any further information, Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch will inform you how it will be used.
