The Snow Queen

Pinney Talfourd Christmas Concert

As the festive holiday season approaches, Pinney Talfourd is delighted to announce the return of the annual ‘Christmas Carols at the Queen’s’ charity concert.

This heartwarming event will spread joy amongst the community and raise vital funds for two very deserving charities – Parkinsons UK, Pinney Talfourd’s 2023/24 charity of the year, and the Queen’s Theatre Charitable Trust.

The concert will take place on Monday 4th December at 11 am at the Queen’s Theatre in Hornchurch and promises to be an unforgettable event of music, festive cheer and goodwill to all involved.

Leading the concert will be the Hornchurch Can’t Sing Choir accompanied by the children from Benhurst Primary School with appearances also from the Pinney Talfourd choir.

The charity Christmas concert has become a cherished tradition, bringing together the local community in the spirit of giving and celebration.

Cloudbusting

Featuring songs from the legendary short film of the same name which Kate Bush released in 1994, this spectacular new show offers audiences a fresh ‘take’ on those tracks that first appeared on The Red Shoes album – all delivered with breath-taking vocals from Mandy Watson and superb musicianship from the live band.

With a set list that also includes classic hits such as Wuthering Heights, Babooshka, Hounds of Love and Running Up That Hill – the world-wide No.1 hit single that took every music chart by storm 37 years after its release.

The show is enhanced with stunning back-projection visuals which reflect the character and mood of the songs, making a Cloudbusting concert an event that no Kate Bush fan will want to miss!

Baby Broadway Christmas

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas at a festive Baby Broadway concert this December! An interactive Christmas performance suitable for all ages.

The whole family can sing and dance along to seasonal showtunes from hit musicals and well-known songs from Christmas films, all performed by our West End singers.

Enjoy well-known numbers from Elf, White Christmas, The Snowman, Frozen and many more.  Festive fancy dress is encouraged and – as well as singing, clapping and dancing along – you can expect bubbles, bells, flying babies and puppetry!

Open to all ages from new-borns to school age to grandparents, concerts last approximately 45 minutes, doors open 15 minutes before start time.

Menopause Party

Dolly Slatemen, the working Wo-Man’s Pub Landlady (Alter Ego of real life Pub Landlady Debbie Baisden) Brings The Menopause Party to the masses.

Directed by Chris Head, this taboo smashing show with character comedy, sing alongs, spoken word and the unveiling of Dolly’s art expressions will take you on Dolly’s comical Menopause journey. Its Edutainment theatre, so expect to learn something on the phenomenon of the menopause that affects half the planet. Because funny enough it’s half female! Sharing her diary entries and special guest appearances from Doctor Meena Poors and Judge Mental Dolly expresses her own menopause in the only way she knows how.

Baby Knees Up is a zany, interactive family event with bubbles, puppets and plenty of singing along for adults, babies and children aged 0 – 100.

Tom Carradine (Carradine’s Cockney Singalong) will get you and your little ones Doing the Lambeth Walk, pondering How Much is That Doggy in the Window, marching with inflatable bananas “down The Strand” and much more!
